Cabin Party
Sunday, January 24th
12:30 – 3:30 pm.

Relax and celebrate the new semester with international students.  Lunch and games provided. Make reservations at ISO or RIC. Lodge at Buckland, 1341 Westfall Road. 
 
*International Insights: Fashioning Kimono: Art Deco and Modernism in Japan.
Sunday, January 31st
1:45 – 5:00 pm.

Join us for a private tour of this exhibit at the Memorial Art Gallery and a talk by the curator. We will then go to a nearby restaurant for refreshments and conversation. No fee for international students for the exhibit and talk. Pay for your own refreshments. Reservations may be made in the RIC or ISS office. Reservations required by January 22.
 
Country Western Line Dancing
Friday, February 19th
6:30 – 9:00 pm.

If you enjoyed the Square Dance, don’t miss the fun of Line Dancing – you don’t even need a partner.  An instructor will teach you everything you need to know for this popular American dance form. Make reservations at ISO or RIC. Brighton Town Park, 777 Westfall Rd.

*Maple Sugar Tour at Cummings Nature Center
Saturday, March 20th
9:30 am – 3:30 pm.

After an hour’s drive through the country, you’ll walk through the wooded grounds to discover how maple syrup is made, enjoy the hands-on displays, and try to tap a tree yourself. Learn what role maple syrup has played in early American history. Enjoy a hearty breakfast with other students and RIC members.

*Wine Tasting at the Strathallan
Friday, March 26th
5:30 - 8:30 pm

Bring your friends to sample an assortment of international wines and a sumptuous Viennese dessert buffet. $35 per person.

Sunday, April 18th
9:00 am – 5:00 pm.

All day trip to Corning Museum of Glass and Rockwell Museum of Western Art. Non-refundable fee includes bus, lunch, museum admissions, tours, and Sandblasting workshop,
